You Can Only Do So Much

We all have those days when we are overwhelmed by so much going on around us. It can be easy to get caught up in it and feel that we need to deal with everything that is flung our way. Today was one of those days at work when everything was happening all at once, and more.

Feeling stressed and anxious, I tried to do as many things as I could through multi-tasking. Not surprisingly, this just made me feel more stressed and anxious! It also meant that I could not concentrate on one task as I was juggling all my other tasks and trying to meet other people’s expectations.
